Theme: Haikyuu!!
Haikyuu!! My beloved! Here’s some anime music videos dedicated to a fun little volleyball anime. All three end with a shot of Hinata spiking the ball into the camera (a coincidence noticed after the recs were chosen). Arranged in alphabetical order.
The impact of the beat along with the editing choices is so satisfying. Haikyuu amvs love using shots of ball impacts and this is a great example of why. There are also some wonderful choices made for emotional impact that really work for me. It has me coming back again and again.
The timing on this one! I love the journey and growth emphasized by the music and editing, the subtle ways that Kageyama and Hinata in particular change. It’s such a wonderful aspect of the experience. The entire thing is just so fun to watch! One extra note, around the 2 minute mark starts a lot of flashing effects. I really like them but they are potentially overwhelming.
This is so upbeat and fun! There are a few particularly joyful choices that really stand out, especially Terushima’s brief appearance. There are plenty of fun bits of timing. Kageyama! Hinata! I really enjoy the bits of their relationship we see. It’s a fun, enjoyable time all around.
